The Perfect Weekend, According to My Family

I experienced the perfect weekend with family—an outing, dinner, binge-watching, and cooking, basically a full-service entertainment package without leaving the house too much.
We went out for a lovely outing, followed by dinner where the biggest family debate was not about life decisions but “Who ordered this?” Then came binge-watching, where we confidently said, “Just one episode,” and suddenly it was tomorrow.
I also cooked, which was less MasterChef and more “Let’s see what happens.” Somehow, the food survived, the family survived, and nobody called for emergency takeout.
By Sunday night, I was happily exhausted and already missing the weekend.

Beautifully said. Family is far more important than anything else. I always cherish being with mine and feeling truly loved.
