When I think about buying stuff, sometimes I wonder if it's really making me happy. But then I realize, it's not just about buying things; it's about how I use them. For example, when I got a new tool for my workshop, I felt excited because I could make cool things with it. And when I got a new phone app to help me organize my tasks, it made me feel more in control and productive. But there are times when I've bought things on a whim, like trendy clothes or gadgets, and later regretted it because I never really used them. So, I've learned that happiness comes from using what I buy in a meaningful way, not just having a lot of stuff. Now, I try to think carefully before I buy something, making sure it's something I'll actually use and enjoy. That way, I can feel good about my purchases and reduce waste at the same time. 🌱 Image by PixelLoverK3 (https://pixabay.com/users/pixelloverk3-3761183/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=3329586)from Pixabay(https://pixabay.com//?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=3329586)

What a blast we had yesterday! Instead of dressing up and heading out, my fam and I decided to roll with the online food vibe, and boy, did it make us grin ear to ear! 😄🍔 So, there we were, lounging around in our comfies, scrolling through the menu online. No lines, no fuss, just us and a ton of tantalizing options. With a few taps, our food was en route, and our anticipation was off the charts. 😋 When the food finally arrived, it was like Christmas morning, but with savory surprises! The first bite was like a flavor explosion, and we couldn't stop ourselves from diving in for more. Our taste buds threw a full-on party, and the laughter and good times flowed. 🥳👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Turns out, it's not about where you eat; it's who you eat with that matters. Our online grub session brought us closer as a fam, and honestly, it was the happiest our tummies have ever been. 🤗💕 #food #family #enjoyment #joy #online Photo by Nicole Michalou (https://www.pexels.com/photo/family-celebrating-christmas-while-holding-burning-sparklers-5779173/)

Yesterday, I experienced an overwhelming sense of happiness as the day unfolded, with each passing moment bringing new opportunities and accomplishments. From sunrise to sunset, I found myself fully engaged in various tasks that brought fulfillment and purpose to my life. Amidst the bustling activities, a heartwarming incident took place that left me with a lasting impression of human kindness. While at the market, engrossed in my shopping, I unknowingly left behind some money at a vendor's stall. Surprisingly, merely ten minutes later, the vendor hurriedly tracked me down to return the forgotten money. His act of honesty and integrity not only brought a smile to my face but also restored my faith in the innate goodness of people. The day's events taught me to embrace life's unpredictable moments and cherish the unexpected acts of generosity that brighten our journey. It was indeed a day worth treasuring for its accomplishments and the heartwarming connection with a stranger. Image by Dean Moriarty from Pixabay

Hey, folks! So, let me tell you something, being busy isn't always a bad thing. In fact, I feel happier when I'm occupied with office and housework. It keeps me going, you know? According to a recent survey, 81% of people feel a sense of accomplishment after completing a task. Studies show that keeping oneself busy can have several benefits, such as reducing stress levels and increasing productivity. So, if you ever feel like you have too much on your plate, take a deep breath, prioritize your tasks, and get to work. Trust me, it'll all be worth it in the end! Photo by Ivan Samkov

I'm feeling so proud of myself for the efforts I've put into organizing and maintaining my home over the past two days. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes to have a clean and tidy living space. Not only does it look and feel better, but it's also reduced my stress and anxiety, and helped me to relax and feel more productive. I've been decluttering my living areas, deep-cleaning my kitchen and bathroom, and making a conscious effort to tidy up each day. It's been hard work, but it's so worth it to see the progress I've made. I feel like I'm creating a space that truly supports my physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I know that maintaining a clean and organized home is an ongoing process, and there will be challenges along the way. But I'm committed to making small efforts each day to keep the momentum going. I'm proud of myself for taking this step towards creating a home that brings me joy and peace of mind, and I know that it will continue to pay off in so many ways.

Dressing well not only makes you feel more confident, but it can also help you look better and feel better about yourself. According to a study published in the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology, people who dressed well felt better about themselves than those who didn’t. They also had higher self-esteem and were more likely to feel confident in social situations. Dressing well can help improve your body image too. A study published in the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology found that people who felt good about their appearance were more likely to have a positive body image. They were also less likely to feel self-conscious about their weight and body size. Yesterday, I experienced the same when I got dressed to go for an outing. Generally, I do not care about my clothes and wear them without planning. Yesterday, I wore a dress gifted by my mother a few days ago. Soon after, I started feeling positive and confident as well. In the mall, I even noticed people were looking at me which I don't usually see. One of the ladies who was in mid 30s even complimented my dress while I was in a queue waiting for the milkshake. She was curious to know where I bought the dress. I felt really good and was happy at the same time. It is such a nice feeling when you get a compliment in a public place by a stranger. A friend's compliment will not matter much as compared to the person whom you do not know. After this incident, I am more conscious now to dress better and look good every time. Apart from this, I am practicing to wear one more thing every day. I read about it just yesterday in an outstanding article posted by Bill Abbate- The best thing you can wear Happy dressing! Qualifications play an important role in our success. With formal qualifications one gets a lot of opportunities to prove his/ her worth in the society. It even increases one's earning potential. Today, I am not writing about our academic qualifications that most of us earn during our childhood and adulthood. I want to talk about a qualification which we may have but we do not take it seriously. The qualification of "Concentration" The capacity to concentrate is a very useful qualification. It not only helps us to meditate well but also helps in tracking the vagaries of our own mind. The qualification of concentration helped me in the following: 1) I can meditate for long periods without feeling tired now. 2) I am more content which is the highest source of joy and the most valuable possession. It helps me in overcoming desire, greed, discrimination and lust. With all of the above, I have trained my mind to overcome the drawbacks of an unsatisfactory environment. I remain calm and comfortable in any place. Now, no spot is exasperating to me nor any place seems repulsive. I am happy to have this functional qualification. #qualification #contentment #concentration #possession #meditation #happy

Most of us end up selecting a wrong career path. We pay a lot of time, energy and money doing tasks which we don't like. This should be improved by reaching out to professional career counselors. Life will be different and interesting after being counseled well. It will be a life full of success when we love our job. I am enjoying my career journey. Thank you counselor.

Success and failure are two sides of a coin. We feel happy if we are successful and tend to do more work with a great amount of positivity. What happens if we fail in a certain activity? We get demoralized and can't bear the rejection. Gradually, we start the phase of seeing a state of depression. Our work life balance goes haywire. We start to see everything getting spoiled one by one. My failure story: I once faced the same situation when I could not diagnose one of my patients correctly. Though I was learning at that time, my batchmates did a better job. After this, I went into a state of depression by this single failure which is very small in the career of medicine. My seniors motivated me but it was not creating any impact on me. The more I think about it the more I get depressed. How I got inspired and bounced back? One day, I got a chance to meet one of the learned faculties in Pediatrics in my institution. She told me she even made the same mistake during her graduation but she never took it as a failure. In fact, she worked hard and improved her diagnostic skills drastically. Now she is one of the most reputed doctors in the world. This gave me a lesson to not get affected by failure or rejection in any situation. We should bounce back with more vigor. #medicine #diagnosis #failure #challenges #rejection #learning #motivation #skills #positivity #inspiration

We have daily chores that need to be done. Without realizing it, some of us keep on completing it one after another without taking a break. This decreases the overall efficiency. I have made a habit of taking breaks during work. Sometimes I take a break of one day or even one week. This keeps me motivated and quality of work improves as well. Complete your work but at your convenience.

How many of us think before buying any product or service? Are you buying things without considering the existing resources that are available to you? My experience: It had happened to me several times that whenever need arises for a product, either I buy it online or offline instantly. Most of the times I repent my buying decision because, later I would have found some article which was already present at my place that was good enough to satisfy my need. Due to heavy industrialization we get new products easily anywhere and also at economical prices. We overlook things that are present at our place. So, the whole objective of writing this post is to make you aware of the existing resources you have. Do you really need that product? Ask yourself.

We all know medicines have their own side effects. Despite of this fact we consume a lot of medicines on a daily basis. Be it vitamins, blood thinners and what not. I strongly suggest to consult your doctor first in case you start any medicine. Also, the duration is very important. Don't keep on consuming it for months. Take it in the prescribed format only. A few days ago, a patient came to me complaining of stomach ache. I asked him the medicines he was taking. Only during the discussion I came to know he was consuming calcium and vitamin-e medicines for no reason. I asked him to stop them immediately and now he is absolutely fine. After all, being healthy is in your hands. Share this information among your family members and friends. Stay healthy!!
