I was in the third category when I started my career but as it advanced, I deliberately switched to the second category.
The reason for switching was I started realizing that if you are working as an employee your employer and colleagues start taking undue advantages of you if you keep on woking for the extra mile.
I ended up working extra mile without benefits, appreciation and perks so I moved to the second category- just enough to get by.
I have done injustice to myself but I plan to work for 'more than asked' for my own start-up.
Great article and yes I believe in working for the extra mile always @Bill Abbate
No matter what, it gives me inner satisfaction.
