How does it feel when your boss pat on your back?

Hello everyone!

I would like to mention the feeling when your work is praised in the organization.

A couple of days ago my superior asked me to compile very complicated data. It was to be given to the stakeholders of the organization the very next day.

The pressure on me was very high because the data was in a haphazard manner. It was related to the research grants received so financial accuracy was the top priority.

To my surprise, the data that I got was in MS Word instead of Excel so I need to first export it to excel. It itself was a tedious job but I managed to do it. I also asked for help from my juniors. I must thank them and I am happy to write that I could provide the data on time.

My boss was happy to see it and appreciated it a lot in front of all the staff. This boosted my morale to do more good work.
