Earned A New Qualification Lately!

Qualifications play an important role in our success. With formal qualifications one gets a lot of opportunities to prove his/ her worth in the society. It even increases one's earning potential.

Today, I am not writing about our academic qualifications that most of us earn during our childhood and adulthood. I want to talk about a qualification which we may have but we do not take it seriously.

The qualification of "Concentration"

The capacity to concentrate is a very useful qualification. It not only helps us to meditate well but also helps in tracking the vagaries of our own mind.

The qualification of concentration helped me in the following:

1) I can meditate for long periods without feeling tired now.

2) I am more content which is the highest source of joy and the most valuable possession. It helps me in overcoming desire, greed, discrimination and lust.

With all of the above, I have trained my mind to overcome the drawbacks of an unsatisfactory environment. I remain calm and comfortable in any place.

Now, no spot is exasperating to me nor any place seems repulsive.

I am happy to have this functional qualification.
