I recently met a 14-year-old history enthusiast who casually explained the difference between IQ and wisdom. He said, “IQ helped Hitler rise fast, but lack of wisdom led to his fall.” I just sat there, stunned. It wasn’t about showing off facts—he was connecting dots that most adults miss. Hearing that from someone his age hit differently. It challenged my own way of thinking.

We often equate intelligence with success, but he made it clear that without wisdom, intelligence can be dangerous. That conversation has been playing in my mind ever since. It wasn’t a lecture. It was just a teenager speaking truth with the clarity of someone who sees the world without filters. Thought-provoking, to say the least.
