The Piano, My Energy and My Thanks!

Today, I picked up my piano and found myself playing the songs I had once learned from my amazing teacher. As my fingers moved across the keys, muscle memory kicked in, and the melodies flowed effortlessly. It felt like reconnecting with a joyful part of myself that had been waiting quietly to be rediscovered.
Each note brought back memories of those early lessons—moments of challenge, encouragement, and breakthrough. I could almost hear my teacher’s voice guiding me through the difficult parts, reminding me to feel the music, not just play it. That guidance still lives in me.
I’m feeling incredibly energized, as if playing reignited something within. But even more than that, I’m feeling deeply thankful. Thankful for the gift of music, and especially for a teacher who patiently nurtured it in me.
Gratitude and energy—what a powerful combination to carry forward. Today, the piano became my reminder of both.
This is such a touching reminder of how music lives within us. It’s so special that you found that part of yourself again Jia.
