Happiness

For ages, I thought I had this whole “happiness comes from within” thing figured out. You know, those feel-good quotes we scroll past like, “Yeah, yeah, got it, happiness is internal.” But truth bomb… I never actually knew the full explanation.

Lately, I have been diving into reading about how to truly keep yourself happy from the inside instead of outsourcing it to the outside world. And wow… it is like someone switched the lights on in a room I did not even know was dark.

Here is the funny part. I once bought this gadget I had been drooling over for months. For the first week, I treated it like royalty. By week two, it was just another thing lying around, silently judging me. But when I sat down one evening, pen in hand, journaling about little wins in my day, I felt this calm, steady joy that did not fade.

That is when it hit me. External stuff gives you a sugar rush, but internal happiness is the main meal. And honestly, I think I just leveled up in life.
