A $100 Bill Finds Its Owner.

Today, in a crowded market, I found a $100 bill lying on a shelf at a florist shop. For a moment, I thought about giving it to the shop owner, but then another thought crossed my mind — what if he simply kept it for himself? I quietly placed the money in my bag and waited outside the shop for a few minutes.

Soon, I noticed an old man walking around anxiously, looking worried and confused. I asked him what he was searching for. He said he had lost his $100 bill. I immediately took the money out of my bag and handed it to him, telling him I had been waiting for him.

He looked both relieved and surprised. When I asked why he seemed confused, he softly said, “Nobody returns money anymore.” I smiled and replied, “It belongs to you, not me.” He thanked me and walked away, while I stood there feeling deeply satisfied and content.
