Two and a Half, Yet Everyone’s Boss!

A few months ago, a new family moved into our neighborhood after buying the house right next to mine. They have a little daughter, just two and a half years old, and she’s already the talk of the town. Honestly, I could watch her all day—she’s that cute. It’s not just me; everyone in our society wants to play with her, talk to her, and spend time around her.
One evening, I was returning home tired from work, and she ran up to me with her tiny toy in hand, insisting I play. In that moment, all my stress melted away. Another day, I saw her trying to mimic the way elders greet each other, and it was so innocent yet heartwarming that I couldn’t stop smiling.
Watching her has made me wonder—why do children have to grow up? Why can’t they stay just as pure, joyful, and full of wonder? Life feels amazing when you see it through their eyes.

Her innocence reminds us how pure joy can brighten even the hardest days.
