From Impulse Buys to Meaningful Investments: My Journey with Consumerism

When I think about buying stuff, sometimes I wonder if it's really making me happy. But then I realize, it's not just about buying things; it's about how I use them.

For example, when I got a new tool for my workshop, I felt excited because I could make cool things with it. And when I got a new phone app to help me organize my tasks, it made me feel more in control and productive.

But there are times when I've bought things on a whim, like trendy clothes or gadgets, and later regretted it because I never really used them.

So, I've learned that happiness comes from using what I buy in a meaningful way, not just having a lot of stuff. Now, I try to think carefully before I buy something, making sure it's something I'll actually use and enjoy. That way, I can feel good about my purchases and reduce waste at the same time. 🌱
