Of late, I came to know three useful tips about automatic transmission cars.
Learning never stops.
As I am driving an AMT car my knowledge was limited to the general instructions given by the car manufacturer at the time of delivery. In today's times being connected to YouTubers, I feel educated and confident about having such information.
Tips:
1. Don't shift gears while the car is in motion.
2. Put the car in neutral or park mode while the car is stationary or if you are waiting for a signal.
3. Don't take your car in deep waters. The water may enter inside the automatic transmission unit damaging it badly.
4. Get the car serviced at regular intervals and transmission oil should be checked regularly.
5. Burnout is not advisable as it will burn out your transmission also.
I was not aware of tip numbers 2,3 and 5 earlier.
