He Knows Me Now!
Something sweet happened today. My husband returned from his tour and brought gifts—each one thoughtfully chosen for me. Not based on what he likes or assumes I’d like, but things that match my taste, habits, and preferences. From the snacks I enjoy to the colors I wear, he got it all right.
It wasn’t always like this. Earlier, the things he brought were often more about his choices. I used to smile and accept them, but deep down, I hoped someday he’d know me better. That day seems to have come. It’s not about the gifts—it’s about the effort, the observation, and the silent care.
This kind of understanding didn’t happen overnight. It took years of living, growing, and learning together. And today, it feels so comforting to know he notices and remembers the small things. This moment may seem simple, but for me, it’s full of warmth and love.
Things are falling beautifully into place.
