Helping Her Find Her Way—And Finding Myself!

Today, something unexpected happened that left a lasting impact on me. I found an old woman standing alone on the roadside, visibly troubled and confused.
I approached her to see if she was okay and quickly realized she had forgotten her way home. She couldn’t recall her address or how she got there. I gently checked her bag for any clues and found a shopping bill that luckily had her home address on it. It wasn’t too far, so I walked her there. Her husband was at home, visibly relieved to see her safe.
As I left, a powerful thought hit me—what if no one had stopped to help? That thought alone gave me chills. I felt deeply content that I could be there at the right time.
Helping a stranger might seem small, but the feeling it gave me? It’s truly indescribable. A reminder that a little kindness can mean the world to someone.
You did a noble job. I am inspired.
