Visited the bank 6 times for closing my personal bank account.
It is difficult to get work done from the Bank employees even nowadays.
Actually, I was experiencing a lot of problems with my bank for last couple of months. They increased the charges of their basic services. I wrote to their head office but they did not even respond.
The overall staff including the branch manager in the bank were also not co-operating.
Ultimately, I decided to close the account. Here also they started delaying my work by giving lame excuses.
Then, I approached the ombudsman of RBI and after that I got my work done.
Closing a Bank account had become a project for me but help from RBI did wonders.
Never feel shy to approach the ombudsman.
