Why Do 85% of Billionaires Swear by Self-Help Books?

Yesterday, I started reading Hyperfocus by Chris Bailey, and I’m already hooked! The excitement of diving into a new book is incomparable. For me, nothing else brings the same joy and deep satisfaction.
The other day, I was watching a short video of Shiv Khera, where he shared that 85% of billionaires are first-generation wealth creators, while only 15% inherited their fortunes. The reason, he said, is that those 85% read self-help books. That really struck a chord with me.
Just four pages into Hyperfocus, Bailey wrote that to increase creativity and productivity, we actually need to unfocus sometimes. That idea grabbed my attention completely. We’re often told to stay focused, but letting the mind wander might be the secret sauce for new ideas.
Books truly have the magical power to shift our thinking and open doors we never imagined.

Great to hear this insight. It’s amazing learning about the secrets of billionaires.
