Grace Isn’t Old-School, It’s Noticed!

Today, I was praised in the office for something many overlook—basic etiquettes and respectful behaviour. While some freshers were taking things lightly, cracking jokes at the wrong time or speaking too casually with seniors, I stuck to my values.

I believe it’s not about being rigid, but about knowing when to speak, how to listen, and showing consideration. One senior even appreciated how I greeted everyone, maintained eye contact, and waited for my turn to talk. It felt good—not just to be noticed, but to be acknowledged for something I truly believe in.

Respect and humility don’t go out of style, no matter the environment. This praise made me feel proud and reassured me that carrying myself with grace and self-awareness is always worth it.
