Yesterday evening, my family and I went for a quick drive to enjoy the changing weather. It felt so good to get out and feel the breeze! We even stopped for some yummy ice cream along the way. 🍦 It was a blast, laughing and chatting while we licked our cones. And to freshen up afterwards, we popped some mouth fresheners. It was just the right touch! 😋 Overall, it was a simple but awesome time with the fam. Sometimes, it's the little things like this that make life so sweet. Can't wait for our next spontaneous adventure! #family #outing #qualitytime

There are moments in life that etch themselves into your memory, filling your heart with happiness, satisfaction, and overwhelming gratitude. One such moment happened to me when my doctor looked me in the eye and said, "You are fine." 🌞 I had been through a challenging period, battling illness, and uncertainty had cast a shadow over my days. But when the doctor, with years of expertise and genuine care, physically examined me, it was as though a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. 🩺 Those words, "It's just a matter of time, and you'll be fit and fine soon," felt like a lifeline. It was a testament to the resilience of my body and the unwavering dedication of healthcare professionals. In that instant, a surge of happiness flooded my being, and an indescribable sense of satisfaction settled in my soul. I wasn't just grateful for the doctor's skill; I was thankful for the gift of health itself. 😇 So, here's to celebrating the triumph of health, the joy of recovery, and the incredible doctors who play a pivotal role in our healing journeys. 🙏❤️

In the realm of education, teachers play a pivotal role that often goes unnoticed amidst the flurry of concerns and complaints. As a concerned parent, I recently attended a Parent-Teacher Meeting for my 11th-grade daughter. What unfolded during the meeting painted a picture of the delicate balance between nurturing young minds and addressing caregivers' worries. Amidst a tense atmosphere where parents vented grievances, I felt compelled to interject with positivity. Publicly acknowledging teachers' unwavering dedication and hard work shifted the mood. The transformation was palpable – smiles replaced furrowed brows, optimism filled the room, and students absorbed the positive energy. One poignant incident encapsulated this shift. A teacher, previously exasperated, shared a heartwarming anecdote about a student's remarkable progress. Applause erupted, celebrating the students' achievements and fostering mutual respect. This experience solidified the impact of appreciation. Recognizing teachers' dedication empowers them to mold young minds with passion and purpose. In conclusion, my Parent-Teacher Meeting visit reshaped my perception of education. It highlighted the importance of appreciating teachers' tireless efforts, transforming interactions, and celebrating their daily work for the betterment of our children and society.

In Gratitude
In a world bustling with chaos and challenges, it is essential to take a moment to acknowledge the blessings bestowed upon us. As I reflect upon my life, I am filled with profound gratitude towards God and nature for the myriad of relationships and privileges they have bestowed upon me. Image by Lucie from Pixabay First and foremost, I am immensely thankful for my parents, who have nurtured me with love, care, and guidance. Their unwavering support has shaped me into the person I am today. Furthermore, my children, spouse, relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbors have all played crucial roles in my life, enriching it with happiness, laughter, and a sense of belonging. Additionally, I am grateful for the abundance that surrounds me. The luxurious life I am privileged to lead stands as a testament to the blessings bestowed upon me. It is humbling to realize that not everyone has access to such comforts, and I am reminded to cherish and share my blessings with others. Teachers, in particular, deserve a special mention in this expression of gratitude. Education is another blessing for which I express my sincere gratitude. Through education, I have acquired knowledge, honed my skills, and opened doors to endless opportunities. This gift has empowered me to contribute positively to society, fostering personal growth and professional success. Finally, I extend my gratitude to nature, which provides for every aspect of my life. From the air we breathe to the food we consume, nature's bountiful offerings sustain us daily. The beauty of the natural world inspires awe and reminds us of our interconnectedness with all living beings. In conclusion, I am filled with deep appreciation for the blessings showered upon me by God and nature. Through the love and support of my relationships, the luxuries I enjoy, the knowledge I have acquired, and the gifts of nature, I am reminded of the abundance that permeates my life. Let us cherish and nurture these blessings, fostering a spirit of gratitude and kindness towards others.

Doing is what we do to make things happen. It’s about taking action and getting things done. Doing is often associated with work, but it can also refer to anything we do in our lives. Happening is about being present in the moment. It’s about enjoying the experience and not worrying about the future. Happening is about taking things as they come. Doing and happening are both important, but they can also be different ways of looking at the same thing. Sometimes doing is the best way to make things happen, and sometimes happening is the best way to do things. Both seem good on their part. The key is to figure out which mode is beneficial to you to achieve success and happiness in life. Which mode to opt for- 'happening' or 'doing' Image by Lena Helfinger from Pixabay Let us discuss it in detail. While you are in doing mode you make a lot of efforts to make things happen as per your plans. If it is your plan it is fine but if you are doing efforts for somebody else's plan it will create problems in your life. Somebody else's plan could be a job that you are doing or somebody else's advice you are following, such as- pursue a course in engineering to get a decent job and living. If you are taking commands from someone else it means you are in 'doing' mode. Life is simple. We tend to make it difficult by always being in the 'doing' mode. We never let our 'happening' mode work for us. Now what do I mean by 'happening' mode. Happening mode is the natural process through which we perform certain tasks out of our own creativity. The urge would come from within and nobody tells us to do it. I have explored my 'happening' mode lately. I must confess that I am enjoying it more than 'doing' mode because I don't have to put in unnecessary effort now. Explore your 'happening' mode too.

I regularly check myself on the above mentioned things to know where I stand at the moment. It gives me immense pleasure and also provides opportunities to grow further in life. If you would like to measure yourself too, you can do it now. Ask these simple questions to you: Am I happy and satisfied or do I look for more of the following: 1. Wealth- Do I have enough of it now and for my retirement? 2. Power- Am I satisfied with my powers or I need to acquire more? 3. Knowledge and Skills- Am I content with my qualifications and learnings? Should I plan to learn new skills and concepts to grow my wisdom? 4. Charity- Do I feel good to help the needy financially? How much funds have I kept aside for donations and charity on a monthly basis? I am sure if you find the answers above you will feel more comfortable. You will get a new sense of living life from now onwards. Do this exercise now. Good luck!

We all want to be happy in our life. Isn't it? Most of us try to get happiness by acquiring power, money, fame, possessions and through relationships. The problem with this way of thinking is that nothing outside yourself can ever make you happy. We need to shift the focus to making inner, not outer, changes. Never make your happiness dependent upon the behavior of others. I find my piece of happiness from the following activities: a) Doing regular exercise, yoga and meditation b) Reading books c) Helping and serving others d) Guiding the young ones and seeking advice from elders e) Having proper balanced diet, and f) Practicing gratitude Share your own ways of happiness by commenting below. During a vacation last summer, I met my relatives in my hometown. I was interacting with my cousins and heard one of them saying, "Only lucky people are successful." The other cousin replied, "No, only successful people are lucky." Both the statements are opposite yet make a lot of sense. As I was already following Mr. Ravi Venkatesan's advice, I told my cousins about it. In the column of Mindset Matters of the Times of India newspaper, Venkatesan mentioned the following: What's luck got to do with success? A lot. Over the years I have developed a few practices to ensure that the good luck keeps flowing. 1. Start by showing up 2. Count your blessings 3. Pay it forward 4. Change your networks- Six networks shape your life- where you are born and your family, the school and college that you attend, your first job, your spouse and the city you live in. Venkatesan is a writer, business leader and social entrepreneur. His recent book is 'What the Heck do I do with my Life'. So, according to me luck and success go hand in hand. Have you ever experienced the same? To read the full article go through the image below. #luck #success #complementary #blessings #networks #college #school #spouse #city #family #cousins #vacation

Gaining from the benefits of curiosity. "It's better to be curious than fear the unknown." by Sandeep Ravidutt Sharma. I always win or learn something new whenever I am curious about it. In my case, curiosity is the mother of invention. Due to it I have achieved many things which I never thought of. For example, swimming and horse riding. Whenever I used to see people doing it, it made me curious to learn both the skills. Out of sheer curiosity I learned them. Now, I enjoy its benefits. On the other hand, digital marketing used to seem very attractive to me. I watched various videos on YouTube and mastered the art. How curious are you? Share your experiences. #curiosity #skills #learning #successstories #benefits #invention #experiences #attraction

Yesterday, I watched a movie about a girl who is a fast racer. She easily outweighs other players with quite a good margin. She won several medals but due to politics, jealousy, hatred, regionalism and nepotism she was thrown out of the game. Though she was physically very strong but mentally she was not able to handle things properly. After watching the movie, I came to a conclusion and also learned a very important lesson of life. In any situation, I have to remain mentally fit and I should be ready to take challenges from the people I am surrounded by. I can not ignore them and my physical ability is not going to help me at all. I should have all the necessary skills to deal with people. This is true in the case of every human being and at every stage of life. Do you have any experiences to share with me? Photo by cottonbro from Pexels

Recently, I came to know about an NGO (goonj.org) which accepts old clothes for the economically weaker sections of the society. Above picture taken from the website of Goonj. After contacting them, they informed only clean and good condition clothes are accepted. Nobody should donate torn and dirty clothes. I was quite amazed to see their facility where they segregate and pack these clothes. I felt nice by donating the old clothes. It gave me so much joy. I am also satisfied that it will be used by the people who really need them.

Last week, I met one of my school friends who is less educated than me. Still, she owns a Mercedes while I am driving just an ordinary car. To be precise, she is a school dropout and I am a post graduate. Why so much difference in status? I believe the time I invested in my studies is worthless. My friend used it productively and started earning early by starting her own business. When I was busy doing graduation and post graduation she was learning the skills of business. Now, she has multiple businesses and proudly manages her employees. Sadly, I am working as an employee in spite of studying so much. At the end of the day, who is the winner?

Recently, my son started getting homework on his school's Learning Management System. Initially, he was skeptical about it but now he is finding it useful in many ways. Though it is not a proper lms since school is still asking to upload the hard copy of students' assignments. However, I believe it is a good start. This will open many avenues in the field of school education. I hope children might get rid of their heavy school bags which they carry daily on their tender shoulders. LMS might change the current scenario of teaching and learning methodology. 1. What is your opinion about LMS? 2. Should children be exposed to it? 3. Do you think it a challenge or an opportunity in future learning? Look for your comments. Thanks for reading it.

The other day I went to a local shop in my locality to buy grocery items. I found the owner who was just in his early twenties was using a calculator for basic addition. For ex- he was calculating 20 + 30 on his calculator. Out of curiosity, I asked him why he uses a calculator for such basic calculations. I am sure hearing his answer you will simply make fun of him. His answer was, "I know 20 +30 is 50 but sometimes it could be different" Now, you suggest what should be done to these young people. He badly missed his basic mathematical lessons, I believe. This is not a single case but entire generation is facing this problem.

Confused? Did not understand the question? Let me elaborate on it by putting it this way, first. The three major changes happening in the learning industry now: The value of degree is diminishing because technology is changing rapidly. You need to constantly unlearn the old concepts to learn the new ones. Student networking is key to successful learning. This will provide instant help whenever a student requires it. Gone are the days when you were only dependent on your teachers and seniors who were available in your locality. Students are passionately looking for a unique space where they can connect globally to the experts. I believe the platform of ZillionPals is absolutely spot on. The tagline "Connecting the learning community" says it all. It also says learning is a continuous process so ZillionPals is truly "A Global Learning Forum For All Ages" The above inputs are taken from the article "Learn to learn; value of a degree is vanishing" Revive your kindergarten curiosity. The above article is published in "The Times of India" For your reference, attaching the article below: I would like to thank: The platform of ZillionPals for providing the opportunity to share this valuable information globally to the right audience. I was working on the implementation plan of a social project. This project needs to be introduced in the remote areas of the country. It is regarding empowering the underprivileged people by providing them with basic necessities. The uniqueness of this project is also to make them self-dependent. After months of exercise and hard work, I presented the complete plan to the concerned authorities. They have not only approved it but also appreciated the whole idea of implementation. Today, I am very happy and thank God for the ability and skills I have acquired. Photo by Plato Terentev from Pexels
